This year the Christmas celebration took place a little later than usual. This was due to an administrative delay while bank checks were completed following the appointment of a new treasurer. We are pleased to report that this matter has now been fully resolved and the fund is operating as normal.
The gathering began with a Christmas service, which included songs, prayers and a Christmas message, followed by a time of fellowship. During the celebration a photograph of Mrs Ross Amma was also shared so that everyone could remember her love and commitment to the project.
Each of the beneficiaries received gifts, a Saree with Blouse piece for the ladies and a Shirt and Trousers for the men, they were received with gratitude.
The event concluded with a closing prayer from a local pastor and a benediction by the Bishop.
A meal of fried rice, chicken curry, dal and curds was then enjoyed by all.
The beneficiaries have expressed their heartfelt thanks for the continued love and support shown through the project.
