Whilst on placement in 2013 Carol visited Dornakal, where she met Kantha and Anil along with some of the beneficiaries of the Fund. She returned there again for a visit in 2017.

And in India the Fund is administered and dispersed by Miss Kantha and Anil Krupakar, with the support of the Church of South India Diocese of Dornakal.

Miss Kantha lives in her own house in the Cathedral Compound and is retired. She used to teach craft and needlework in the School for the Deaf within the compound. As a child Kantha had polio and is now able to get around her home with the help of crutches, and a wheelchair when she goes out. Kantha is now supported in her administration of the Fund by her nephew, Mr Anil Krupakar,

“I am G Anil Krupaker from Dornakal. I am the nephew of Miss G. Kantha. I am blessed with two sons elder is Paul and  younger is Joel. My wife’s name is Priyadarshini and she is working as a school librarian in a government residential school. I am working as a Inclusive Education resource person for the children with special needs. I have been helping this project from so many years. And I am very much grateful to God Almighty for giving me this great opportunity to work with my aunty for the poor and needy and I am very much thankful to you all for your love and great concern for me also. Pray for me and my family and pray for me for God’s guidance to me to work more efficiently in this widows project for His Glory. “
